The Top Ten Things to Look for When Buying Coconut Oil

- A great buy!

- Certified organic and non- GMO (Healthiest ind especially if you intend to eat it)
- Made from fresh coconuts, not dried copra (Depends on how particular you are)
- Cold-processed (Heat affects the quality of the end product)
- Unrefined, Unbleached, Unfermented
- Chemical-free
- Undeodorized (Depending on if you seriously dislike or can’t take the smell of coconuts you can get a deoderized kind but my best recommendation is to go the undeoderized route)
- Unhydrogenated (Hydrogenated fats break down quickly; pure, unrefined, unbleached coconut oil never goes rancid, much unlike other hydrogenated oils)
- Pure white (Exactly like fresh cut coconut when solid, when liquid it appears clear)
- Tastes like fresh coconut (If the product you bought doesn’t taste this way, its integrity is very questionable)
-
Has a fresh coconut fragrance (If the product you bought doesn’t smell this way and is not noted on the label the integrity of you product is very questionable)
