If you can squint a bit you will see that this 8 ounces of shea butter costs $48.
Let me say this, never EVER buy a natural hair product for more than $10 unless you are buying an enormous quantity. I am saying $15, but, I am being very generous my limit for any product is around $5. You can go up a bit or go down all the way but over $10 is rest assured outrageous.
Be especially wary of those brands who talk on and on about how wonderful their product is. REMEMBER: Check the top five ingredients. Those ingredients should be things you could ingest without, you know, dying or getting ill.
At any rate if you are paying more than $10 for a product it should NOT have in any petroleum, petrolatum, mineral oil or liquid paraffin. IF you are going to pay so much you should be getting 100% the real deal!
Next hair color I plan to do is………
Burgundy! Well more mahogany.
Much like this:
Then, I am gonna go black and see what it do. For the longest while I have been convinced that black is no good for my skin tone, but, I am willing to give it a try.
LOL though, I definitely thought I’d satisfied my craving, which I have, but I can’t go to work with this shock of red I have and going to all burgundy would be best. Interestingly, enough I once did a red dye that pretty much ended up that way and I loved it!
Sponsored by CustomInk, Natural Chica is giving away the hoodie seen above. Stop by her website to get the contest rules (which are fairly simple).
I’ve seen these print advertisements hanging around for a minute but as I don’t shop very often I kept forgetting. What I really love is that her hair is so long!
That looks about fourteen inches just kinky. I hyperventilate just thinking about it. I’m a little over half that now. Perhaps, if only I could stop raping my hair with dye I’d speed up my process a bit. Hmm, this hair is inspirational! I’d wear my hair just like that wagging in the wind…watch me whip my hair b******.
I’m loving it,
p.s. Apparently this was was a collaborative campaign between UNICEF and H&M.
